I’m slowly learning of the importance of networking. I currently have my own business in network marketing and had never before considered how much the personal touch really adds to a transaction.
I’d previously been someone who would always send an email rather than make a call, and order online as opposed to going in a shop. But actually, people are fascinating. And even if it’s a two minute conversation with the girl at the till, chances are that experience will imprint on you more than whizzing through an online checkout.
Also, as someone who aspires to starting an independent business (as funded by my current business!) – you never know where your next amazing contact will come from.
Humans, by nature, are social creatures. Let’s not lose that completely!
