1. Look for a photographer that is your style.
It is important to understand that some photographers are more photojournalistic than creative. Meaning they focus on the many important moments, versus setting a scene. I personally try and do both when I photograph weddings. Not only is it important to look at a photographers camera process, but it is also important to see what their post production is like. Do they Photoshop a lot, or do they keep their images more natural? It is okay to turn down a photographer, because their style doesn’t match yours. Find someone that you truly like.
2. Always factor in your budget.
